ARTIGA CANYON
A surprising and enjoyable half-day canyon: arrival, getting ready, a 40 minute walk which is initially uphill to then get flat from half way onwards; getting equipped, briefing, minimum of a 3 hour water itinerary and a 15 minute downhill return to cars.
This is an intermediate level water descent with several possible activities with water abseils up to 25 metres including zip-line with stop block and water landing, handrails, several jumps up to 12 metres high with the possibility of avoiding the highest ones, several slides up to 9 metres long, easy down-climbing stretches, simple rock climbing stretches, surrounded by rich vegetation and pools where one can swim.
In addition to Artiga canyon in the morning, it is possible to descend Marc canyon in the afternoon and Escales canyon on the following day.
No previous experience is required but normal physical condition is recommended. You must be able to swim. From 12 years old and adults. It is necessary that minors are accompanied by an adult member of the family, tutor or responsible person.

· Regulated canyon, reserved for guides with French professional authorisation.
· Price Artiga + Marc 120€ (1 day).
· Price Artiga + Marc + Escales 180€ (2 days), With the possibility of accommodation in a campsite (not included) or in a Caravan area (free).
· Health Assistance Insurance including rescue and transfer.
· Liability Insurance.
· Photographic report, free on Bavaresa Guías de La Cerdanya’s Facebook (with your previous consent regarding what is provided by the Law on Image Rights), which can be sent by email to you upon a 10 € fee per each group booking.
· Minors will receive their “Club Bavaresa Tritón Canyon” canyoneer membership cards with discount options in other canyons and club activities.
· 2 piece wetsuits with extra protections and hood, chest guard and a 5 mm. jacket.
· Additionally, 2 mm thermal short wetsuit for thinner kids.
· Thermal Lycra t-shirt although it is recommended that you take your own for better size adjustment.
· Thick neoprene socks.
· Neoprene gloves if necessary.
· Full canyoning harness with seat, descender and lanyards.
· Canyoning approved helmet.
· Group material, rucksacks, ropes, first aid and emergency phone.
· 10 participants at the most per guide.
· Certified professional guide.
SHOULD TAKE
· Trunks and swimsuit to wear while we walk and under the wetsuit. Ladies can also wear sports shorts.
· Sports shoes which can be tied with laces, with a good sole and protecting the toes. No mountain sandals nor beach or river neoprene shoes. Towel, replacement shoes and clothes to wear after the activity.
· Sun block.
· For those wearing glasses, it is recommended to tie them with a ribbon or refrain from wearing them.
· For those using contact lens it is recommended to wear goggles for protection.
· You can take energy bars to eat after the initial walk but just those you will definitely eat.
· Take at least half a litre of waterer person in a single-use plastic bottle. No plastic or metal canteens.
· You must have a good breakfast before the activity.
· It is recommended to take your own food and drink to be consumed after the activity.
· Come in your own car to travel to the activity’s car park.
